Mens Antiaging Tips
Women aren't the only ones who will benefit from this website. Men are interested in looking and feeling younger too. This page is specifically devoted to men's antiaging tips. Many of these are similar to tips found elsewhere on this site because aging affects all of us. But let's see what men can do to look and feel better. Tip #1 - Protect your skin The sun causes the most visible signs of aging to our skin. It doesn't matter whether you are male or female. The sun's rays damage skin. Men may not be as interested in "laying out" and getting a tan as women, but men are more likely to have outside jobs. Even if you have an inside job, playing sports, mowing the lawn and other outside activities expose your skin to the damaging rays. You should use sunscreen each time you go outside. To fully protect your face, use an
antiaging
moisturizer with sunscreen each morning. This will both protect your skin while repairing previous damage.
Tip #2 - Use Anti-aging ProductsChoose an anti-aging facial wash, as well as shave gel and aftershave. This will help to reduce the fine lines and wrinkles that have developed or help keep them for appearing at all. Not sure where to purchase them?

stress busting activities
to keep your stress levels low. Tip # 4 - Exercise Yes, exercise is important to men too! Not only will exercise reduce stress, it is an important antiaging tip for men. As we age, we need less food. It's tough to start eating less so we need to exercise to burn those extra calories and keep our metabolism high. Also, men tend to gain weight around their stomachs which can cause heart problems. So men, get out there and exercise. You should combine
aerobic exercise
(no, you don't have to join a class - even walking is aerobic) with strength training. Just pick up some hand weights at the store and take time to use them several days a week. Tip #5 - Eat more vegetables Sorry men, I don't mean potatoes. I'm talking about
colorful vegetables.
Green broccoli, orange carrots and sweet potatoes, red beets and tomatoes all contain antiaging nutrients. And if you have a salad, choose leafy greens like spinach or other dark greens. Iceberg lettuce is practically worthless as far as nutrients go. Tip #6 - Watch the fat intake Okay, I didn't say you were going to like these male antiaging tips, but they are important. The best way to reduce your fat intake is to stay away from red meat, dairy and fried foods. GULP! I know it's not easy, but it will be better for your health. You don't need to become a vegetarian, but choose chicken, turkey or fish instead of red meat. Are you a hunter? Although deer meat is considered a "red" meat, the meat is far lower in fat and of course, contains no antibiotics or hormones. YES! My husband hunts and the only red meat we eat is deer meat. Not a hunter? You can still buy deer, buffalo and ostrich (all acceptable "red" meats) online or at some local stores. Tip #7 - Consider nutritional supplements In addition to the traditional antioxidants, Vitamin A, E, C among others, men need enough Zinc and Lycopene for prostate health. Saw Palmetto is another herb that has been found to be helpful for prostate health. Be sure to choose supplements that are standardized and will dissolve and be absorbed into your system.
