Hawaiian Style Salmon


This recipe combines the taste of salmon with pineapple for a tasty Hawaiian inspired main dish. Try Hawaiian style salmon for your next luau or dinner. Serve with brown rice and a green vegetable for a complete dinner. Be sure to use Alaskan wild salmon when choosing your fish.

4 - 4oz. salmon steaks
Salt and pepper to taste
4 tsp. olive oil
2 pineapple slices, diced
2 Tbs. minced cilantro (opt.)

Preheat the over to 400 degrees. Rinse salmon steaks and pat dry. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Drizzle the oil on the steaks. Place on baking sheet. Top with pineapple and cilantro. Cover with foil and bake 12 minutes. Serves 4.
